Transneft says postpones some oil pumping to Nov due to storms

MOSCOW, Nov 1 (PRIME) -- Oil pipeline monopoly Transneft has postponed some oil and oil product transportation in Russian ports to November because of storms, aide to the president of the company Igor Dyomin told PRIME on Wednesday.

"There are transitional tanker positions for the next month in all ports because of storms that started in the last 10 days of October," Dyomin said.

The transportation limits lasted for nine days in Novorossiysk, four and a half in Ust-Luga, two and a half in Primorsk, three and a half in Kozmino. Besides, some tankers in Novorossiysk lagged behind the schedule by a week.

Business daily Kommersant said citing research firm Kpler that Russia could boost oil exports dramatically in November.
